I bought a gingerbread house kit to do with the kids sometime during December. They were so excited about it we had to do it that night. So with a screaming baby on my lap we decorated the gingerbread house. The kids had lots of fun and were so excited. They did a good job. Icing is harder to put on with one hand.

My kids were so excited to see your gingerbread house. They want me to bake one for them and make it with them next week. I hope it works out. If you know a good recipe please share.
It looks great! I got a kit before Thanksgiving. The kids saw it, I've tried to keep it hidden but they ask all the time. I just haven't found a good time. I think tomorrow for FHE we will do it. I will post it...
